In this talk, I will first present some ill-posedness results for wave equation in the super-critical regime, in the sense of Hadamard. Next I will introduce the notion 'probabilistic Hadamard well-posedness', in the sense of which the super-critical wave equation might behave very well. At last, we will show how tools from probability theory help us achieve the probabilistic well-posedness result.
